HP unveils Envy x2 Windows 8 hybrid tablet

HP has unveiled a new hybrid notebook tablet. The HP Envy x2 runs Windows 8 and can function as a standalone touchscreen tablet when the screen is separated from the keyboard via a magnetic latch. It comes with a 11.6-inch HD display with IPS panel, NFC sensor, HD webcam on the front and an 8-megapixel camera on the back. It also features Beats Audio, an optional stylus to navigate on the screen, the new HP Connected Photo application to sync and share photos across devices and social networks, and HP Connected Music powered by Meridian to download and stream music.
