Hrvatski Telekom confirms layoffs

Croatian operator Hrvatski Telekom has confirmed press reports of 100 about layoffs, as part of efforts to maintain operational efficiency and support long-term, sustainable growth. Employees who leave the company receive severance pay of HRK 230,000 on average, equal to one and a half years the average wage at HT. According to the operator, severance pa at HT is among the highest in Croatia and on average twice the legally prescribed amount.
