HTC enters new relationships with VR market players

Taiwanese firm HTC is establishing new relationships with key players in the virtual reality space even though the launch of its much-anticipated Vive VR headset, created in partnership with games firm Valve, was delayed to early 2016, writes online publication TechCrunch. HTC co-founder and former CEO Peter Chou joined Hong Kong-based Digital Domain, the visual effects firm behind Iron Man 3. He took an executive director role at the 22-year-old company. Chairwoman Cher Wang replaced Chou as HTC CEO in March, while Chou took on a new new role as head of the HTC Future Development Lab. Chou
