
HTC grows Q4 revenues 153% to TWD 104 bln

HTC announced revenues of TWD 104.0 billion for the fourth quarter, up 153.3 percent from a year earlier. The result beat the company's forecast for TWD 100 billion in sales. Revenues in December alone were up 134.4 percent to TWD 33.1 billion, and for the full-year 2010, HTC grew sales 92.9 percent to TWD 278.8 billion. Fourth-quarter operating profit rose to TWD 16.8 billion, from TWD 6.3 billion a year ago, and net profit improved to TWD 14.6 billion from TWD 5.5 billion. HTC will give a presentation on its fourth-quarter and 2010 results on 21 January.
