HTC announced revenues for the month of September of TWD 27.06 billion, up 130 percent from the year earlier. The smartphone marker said September sales only saw a small portion of shipments for its new products and it expects a bigger impact from new launches in October. For the first nine months of 2010, the company's revenues reached TWD 174.76 billion, up 69 percent from a year earlier. HTC reported third-quarter revenue of TWD 75.85 billion, more than double the TWD 33.9 billion a year earlier. Quarterly operating profit rose to TWD 12.40 billion from TWD 6.43 billion a year earlier, and net profit increased to TWD 11.10 billion from TWD 5.70 billion.
