HTC sets up Vive Tech subsidiary

HTC confirmed that it established a new subsidiary called HTC Vive Tech. The smartphone maker issued a statement following media reports that the new unit could be in preparation of spinning off the company's virtual reality activities. HTC said the newly established company aims to develop new and innovative technology.
