HTC to limit phone introductions next year - report

Wednesday 27 December 2017 | 12:09 CET | News
Industry sources are saying HTC will release a limited number of smartphones in 2018 as it puts its attention on R&D and marketing, Digitimes reported. The company is expected to introduce a variation of its HTC U11+ phone in January, as it looks to strengthen its mid-tier segment. The phone will likely be named HTC U12, the sources said. The company reported operating losses widening to TWD 3.3 billion in the third quarter, from 2.0 billion the year before.
