HTC to offer free screen replacement to US customers
HTC announced a range of new customer services aimed at boosting its share of the US smartphone market. Called HTC Advantage, the services include a free one-time screen replacement within the first six months of owning the phone, a promise to deliver Android and HTC user interfaces updates as quickly as possible, for up to two years after launch of the phone, and 25-50 GB of online storage provided free with each phone, including back-up and store options directly from HTC. The upgrades will include Android KitKat for the One Mini and One Max in the coming months.

The HTC Advantage promise is available initially in the US with the flagship HTC One range of smartphones. HTC also said it created a new position of vice president of customer experience at HTC Americas, held by Ed Kuhner, to oversee the improved customer support.
