Huawei, China Telecom develop 5G slicing service for power industry

China Telecom's Beijing Research Institute, China Electric Power Research Institute, and Huawei have agreed to cooperate on the joint basic foresight innovation project about 5G power slicing technology. According to Qiu Xuefeng, VP of Packet Core Network at Huawei, this project will enable technical verification of 5G slicing in smart grid industry applications and accelerate development of services.
