Huawei drops to 2nd place in European patent filings in 2018

Huawei dropped to second place in the number of patent applications in Europe last year, just behind Siemens. The Chinese company made 2,485 applications to the European Patent Organisation in 2018, compared to 2,493 by Siemens. Samsung was in third place with 2,440, followed by LG with 2,376.
