Huawei falls to third place in GCC smartphone market in Q3

Wednesday 20 November 2019 | 11:10 CET | News
IDC's report shows that the overall GCC smartphone market experienced solid year-on-year (YoY) unit growth of 20.2 percent in Q3 2019, with shipments totaling 4.84 million devices worth USD 1.62 billion. Quarter on quarter (QoQ), shipments were only up 2.2 percent, but this relatively modest rise at least represents a reversal of the declining trend from 2018.
