Huawei France and Schnell team up to bring Li-Fi to hospitals

Huawei France has signed a framework agreement with Schnell, a spin-off of German institute Fraunhofer specialising in Li-Fi connectivity. This alternative to Wi-Fi is capable of delivering high-speed broadband and is carving a market niche in environments where the use of Wi-Fi is not recommended or forbidden. Huawei and Schnell will combine their respective expertise to introduce a new offering targeting the health sector, and particularly hospitals.
