Huawei grows Italian smartphone share 140% year on year

Huawei has grown its share of the Italian market share by 140 percent over the past year to account for 8.1 percent of smartphone users aged 13 or over in May 2016, according to the latest comScore MobiLens figures. In fact, the Huawei P8 Lite was the single most acquired handset in May, with 6.7 percent of the 1.4 million total smartphone sales. The market is still dominated by Samsung, with 42.4 percent of all sales, followed by Apple with 17.7 percent and Nokia with 8.9 percent.
