Huawei helps Telecom Argentina migrate to all-cloud network

Huawei has announced that it has completed the construction of a basic ICT converged telecom service over cloud infrastructure for Telecom Argentina, converting the company into the first mobile operator to implement an all-cloud core network in Latin America. The deployment begun in March 2016 and the migration to Huawei's NFV-based CloudCore and CloudEdge platforms was completed nine months later, with all traditional core network functions, such as IMS, MSS, EPC, and DRA, now deployed on Huawei FusionServer and FusionSphere OpenStack.
