Huawei introduces Ascend P7 LTE smartphone

Huawei has unveiled the Huawei Ascend P7 LTE-enabled smartphone. The new device features a 5-inch full HD display, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, the latest intuitive Emotion UI 2.3 and a 2,500 mAh battery. The Huawei Ascend P7 also comes equipped with an Ultra Snapshot function that enables the user to be camera-ready 1.2 seconds after double-clicking the down volume button while in the locked screen, Voice Photo that enables photos to be accompanied by 10-second audio clips and a proprietary Image Signal Processor (ISP). 

The recommended retail price of the Huawei Ascend P7 is EUR 449, and the phone will be available in China, the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Serbia, Greece, Norway, Hungary, Denmark, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates from May, with other markets to follow.

Huawei aims to double French market share this year
