Huawei introduces new carrier servers, storage products

Huawei unveiled its FusionServer X6800 high-density data centre server and FusionServer RH8100 service-critical server, designed to support data centre consolidation and optimization among telecoms carriers. The company also demonstrated its OceanStor OS and storage products to help carriers embrace cloud computing and converged storage. Huawei's X6800 runs Intel Xeon E5 v3 processors designed for cloud computing and big data applications. The RH8100 server uses Intel Xeon E7 v2 processors and provides up to 60 reliability, availability, serviceability (RAS) features to support key services
