Huawei launches largest petabit router, new inCloud service

Huawei introduced its NetEngine 9000 (NE9000) core router platform during the 2015 Global Analyst Summit held at its Shenzhen headquarters, LightReading reported. The operator said the petabit core router has the largest capacity in the industry. The new product supports the industry's first 2T router line card and the SDN/NFV technology meets the requirement of the next generation DC-centric network. NE9000 supports a maximum capacity of 8 Tbits per slot. The cluster system capacity scales to 8 Pbits, resulting in a download speed of 12,000 4K videos per second. The industry's 2T line card
