Huawei Marine to build South Atlantic Inter Link system

Huawei Marine contracted with China Unicom and Camtel to construct the South Atlantic Inter Link (Sail) cable system, which marks the official commencement of the Sail implementation phase. Backed by investment from China Unicom and Camtel, the Sail system links Cameroon and Brazil, a length of 6,000 kilometres. Adopting Huawei Marine's advanced 100G technology, the system has 4 fibre pairs and a design capacity of 32Tbps.
