Huawei operates TalkTalk network-level filtering system

The network-level filtering system used by UK ISP TalkTalk is controlled by Chinese telecoms company Huawei, the BBC has learned. UK-based Huawei employees can decide which sites are blocked by TalkTalk's network filtering service. The ISP's HomeSafe system was recently praised by Prime Minister David Cameron. The company told the BBC that the HomeSafe service was very popular and that it was happy with its relationship with Huawei.
