Huawei overtakes Samsung as leading Spanish smartphone brand

Huawei has finally overtaken Samsung as the top selling smartphone brand in Spain in the three months to November, accounting for 18.9 percent of all devices sold, just ahead of Samsung with 18.8 percent. The latest smartphone sales data from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech revealed that Samsung plummeted 15.7 percentage points year on year, while Huawei was up 4.9 percent compared to November 2015. The two brands remained well ahead of Apple (13.0%), which overtook LG (10.0%) and Spanish smartphone manufacturer BQ (9.0%) as the third best selling brand in the quarter thanks to the launch of the
