Huawei plans to move regional office to Ethiopia from DR Congo

Huawei is positioning itself to get more business in Ethiopia as the economy opens up its telecommunications sector, Bloomberg reported.  Loise Tamalgo, Huawei's Vice-President for Southern-Sahara Africa, said Ethiopia is rising and becoming much more important for the future. The company is likely to move a regional office covering about five countries from the Democratic Republic Congo to Ethiopia, where it currently only has a country office, he said.
