Huawei says no plans for more Windows phones

Huawei has put on hold making any more Windows smartphones, saying the Microsoft operating system is not profitable. Richard Yu, the head of Huawei's consumer business group, told the Wall Street Journal that it "has been difficult to persuade consumers to buy a Windows phone". The company has been losing money for two years on the Windows phone and has decided to put any releases of new Windows phones "on hold", he said. Yu acknowledged that there were concerns about relying on Android, "but we have no choice. And we have a good collaboration with Google", he said. He ruled out making any
