Huawei sees African revenue up by up to 30% in next 3 years

China-based Huawei says revenue in southern and eastern Africa may climb by as much as 30 percent in the next three years. Li Dafeng, president for eastern and southern Africa, told Bloomberg in Nairobi that there is a lot of potential, especially if one looks at the penetration of mobile broadband compared with European countries or with China. According to the ITU, Africa has fewer than five mobile broadband subscriptions per 100 inhabitants, compared with more than 10 percent in the rest of the world.
