Huawei targets USD 10 bln in enterprise business revenues

Wednesday 12 March 2014 | 02:23 CET | News
Chinese telecommunications equipment vendor Huawei Technologies expects its enterprise business will grow to USD 10 billion in revenues by 2017. Revenues from the segment grew 32 percent last year to around USD 2.5 billion and the company expects to grow further this year, Bloomberg writes citing Huawei's enterprise business head William Xu. The company aims to challenge Cisco Systems by offering software-programmed switches which are designed to reduce operating costs and allow faster and cheaper upgrades. The company is also partnering with other companies, such as SAP and Alstom.
