Huawei to show 16nm ARM64-based networking processor

Huawei said it will show the world's first 16nmFinFET ARM64-based networking processor at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Huawei's Nova processor supports GSM/UMTS/LTE FDD/LTE TDD mobile radio networks on a single chip. Based on ARM64 architecture and the 16FinFET process, Nova is 67 percent more efficient than traditional processors and reduces the cost and required power for radio networks while offering improved performance and flexibility, Huawei said.
