Huawei wins T-Mobile Netherlands network services contract

Huawei announced a contract to manage T-Mobile Netherlands' network for five years. The managed services contract covers the RAN, core network and transport network and will see around 80 T-Mobile employees move to Huawei. Huawei will be responsible for the Network Operating Centre, second-line support and the maintenance of more than 4,800 base stations on the mobile network. T-Mobile started last year replacing its radio network with LTE-1800 equipment based on Huawei's Single RAN platform.
