Hub Telecom to test white space comms at Roissy-CDG

Telecom regulator ARCEP has received the authorisation from broadcast regulator CSA for fixed and mobile business operator Hub Telecom to use the so-called spectrum 'white spaces' to test wireless communications at Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport. The CSA has authorised the company to use the 746-756 MHz and 777-787 MHz bands for a 6-month period, if certain conditions are met. These frequencies are under the purview of the broadcast regulator because they are among those currently reserved for DTT broadcasting. They will presumably be used for Hub One's Mobility For Business service range,
