Huiawei defends video conferencing systems security

Chinese telecoms company Huawei has defended its security record after reports that UK Government departments are concerned that its technology can be bugged, reports The Telegraph newspaper. Three UK Government departments are understood to have ordered the removal of video conferencing devices supplied by Huawei over concerns about potential security vulnerabilities. A company spokesperson insisted that its video conferencing equipment was secure and based on global standards.
