US online TV service Hulu announced that it passed 4 million subscribers for its paid service Hulu Plus in the first quarter, growing by around a third from the end of 2012. The company also set a new record for revenue in the quarter, although exact figures were not disclosed. For the first time Hulu passed more than 1 billion videos streamed in a single quarter. It also reported mobile viewing on the increase; this is expected to account for approximately 15 percent of Hulu's consumed videos in 2013-2014.
