Hutchison Asia business improves revenues, EBITDA as customer base contracts

Thursday 21 March 2019 | 12:43 CET | News
CK Hutchison said its mobile business in Asia ended 2018 with 49.8 million active customers, down 34 percent from a year earlier. The drop was mainly due to subscriber registration rules introduced in Indonesia in April, which led to the disconnection of many second Sims. Revenues across the business still rose 7 percent to HKD 8.22 billion, with 11 percent growth in local currencies.
