Hyundai, Baidu strike Internet of Vehicles partnership deal

Car manufacturer Hyundai and Chinese internet search provider Baidu have strengthened their cooperation on connected car services by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for Internet of Vehicles development. Hyundai and Baidu plan to initially co-develop a connected car service that provides a wide range of in-car content based on big data, maps, artificial intelligence (AI) and portal services. This in-car content includes real-time traffic status and live information about the user's end-destinations.
