Hyundai picks Verizon for connected cars

Hyundai Motor America, a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Co of Korea, awarded a contract to Verizon Enterprise Solutions for the provision of a range of connected services for Hyundai vehicles starting in 2014. The services include safety, security, diagnostics and infotainment. Hyundai vehicles are distributed throughout the US by Hyundai Motor America and are sold and serviced through more than 820 dealerships nationwide.
