Hartmann succeeds Frank Hyldmar, who announced in June his intention to leave Techem at the end of September for personal reasons. Hartmann has extensive experience in managing large technology companies. He has been responsible for corporate development in terms of innovation, digitisation and customer focus in various leadership positions.
At IBM Deutschland, he currently serves as chairman of the board of management as well as general manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Previously, he was CEO of market research company GfK SE, where he was responsible for the strategic realignment and digital transformation of the company. Prior to joining GfK, he held various leadership positions in Germany and internationally at IBM, expanding the global services business in terms of strategy, digital transformation and business development.
