IBM signs up partners for telco hybrid cloud platform

IBM is expanding its presence in the telecom market with a new ecosystem of 35 partners to help communication service providers virtualise their networks. Companies such as Nokia, Samsung, Juniper Networks and Intel have agreed to help operators take advantage of the new IBM Cloud Satellite platform based on Red Hat OpenShift and deploy the IBM Cloud for Telecommunications services in the cloud, on premises or at the edge.
