IBM to buy Resilient, launches incident response services

IBM has announced plans to acquire US security incident response software company Resilient Systems and has launched the new IBM X-Force Incident Response Services to help clients plan for, manage and respond to cyber attacks. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close later this year, subject to any required regulatory reviews. Resilient Systems' platform will be a key component of the new services, alongside IBM's QRadar Security Intelligence Platform.
