ICASA orders zero-rated access to websites providing coronavirus public information

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has issued regulations requiring all ISPs to zero-rate certain sites with information about Covid-19, reports Mybroadband. All Electronic Communications Service and Electronic Communications Network Service licensees must abide by the new regulation. This includes mobile operators like Vodacom, MTN, Cell C, Telkom and Rain.
