ICASA sets BEE, universal service terms for Vodacom-Neotel

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has set out two conditions for its approval of Vodacom's ZAR 7 billion takeover of Neotel. To finalise these conditions, ICASA is embarking on a public consultation process. All interested parties, including Vodacom and Neotel, are invited to submit written comments within fourteen days.
