Ice wants 80% population coverage by Q2, aims for 70% of data on own grid

Norwegian mobile operator Ice hopes to have 70 percent of its data traffic on its own network eventually through grid optimisation, up from 24 percent in the second quarter of 2017. So said a presentation by parent company Ice Group, which recently changed its name from AINMT. It aims to expand its Norwegian population coverage to 80 percent between the fourth quarter of this year and the second of 2018, from 40 percent currently.
