Icelandic regulator extends 5G consultation deadline until 01 February

The Icelandic Post and Telecom Administration (PTA) said it is extending the deadline for comments on its 5G spectrum allocation plans to 01 February from 17 January. In December, the PTA said it intended to give current 4G rights holders Siminn, Vodafone Iceland and Nova 100 MHz allocations in the 3.6 GHz band, with permits valid until 31 December 2021 at the latest.
