Icelandic telecoms networks hold up well during virus outbreak

The Post and Telecom Administration said its weekly teleconference with telecoms operator on 02 April found there has been no change in the increased activity that occurred the week before. Networks remain under increased pressure because of measures to tackle coronavirus but there is excess capacity. Operations are going well with the organisational measures and teleworking that have been set up, and the status of inputs and spare parts is good.
