Iceland's PTA says 70% of households pay for TV or VoD

Icelandic regulator the Post and Telecom Administration (PTA) said a consumer survey done in late September and early October on services via fixed lines found that almost 70 percent of households pay for a subscription television or video streaming service. It said 80 percent of those subscribers get the service as part of a package. Netflix is the most popular SVoD service (54%) with Disney+ (13%) and Nordic Entertainment's Viaplay (10%) coming ahead of Amazon Prime Video (9%).
