ICO seeks views on code of practice for use of personal data in political campaigns

UK Information Commissioner Elizabeth Denham is seeking views on the introduction of a code of practice covering the use of data in political campaigns and elections. This call for input comes as the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) publishes a report to Parliament on its investigation into the use of data analytics for political purposes, launched in May 2017.
