ICO wants global action to overhaul cookie consent systems

The UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has called on all G7 data protection and privacy regulators to co-operate to overhaul cookie consent pop-ups. This would help improve protection of people's privacy and allows businesses to provide an improved web browsing experience.
