ICT groups call for changes to EU regulation on terrorist content takedown

A number of key lobby groups in the ICT sector have called for changes to the EU's proposed regulation on preventing the dissemination of terrorist content online. Proposed in September 2018, the regulation will face a key vote later this month by the European Parliament's Civil Liberties Committee. The industry groups are concerned the regulation covers too broad a scope and could lead to limits on fundamental rights of expression.
