IDC forecasts EMEA PC market almost stable in 2019

Shipments of traditional PCs in the EMEA region will drop 0.4 percent year-on-year to total 71.3 million in 2019, according to a forecast from IDC. The commercial appetite will remain strong throughout 2019, driven by renewal cycles across the market, but it will be insufficient to offset the heavy declines in the consumer market, the market researcher said.
