IFC to support TIP's Network as a Service project

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a body of the World Bank, announced an agreement to support the Telecom Infra Project (TIP) and the roll-out of mobile networks built on open standards around the world. The partnership is expected to help accelerate the deployment of mobile broadband services to under-served areas, building on new financing and network models developed by the respective bodies.
