IIJ, Access dissolve SDN joint venture Stratosphere

Japanese internet and network services provider Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ) and Access have agreed to constructively dissolve Stratosphere, a joint venture established by the two companies to conduct R&D on infrastructure software based on software defined networking (SDN) technology. IIJ and Access will both take over Stratosphere's business via a business transfer, which is scheduled to take place on 1 July. The companies then plan to terminate the Stratosphere joint venture.
