Iliad Italia launches new offer of 50GB for EUR 8 a month, hits 2 mln clients

Iliad has announced its third official offer since launching its Italian mobile operation at the end of May, having reached the milestone of 2 million customers in just 100 days. The new deal comes with 50GB of 4G data, including 4GB for EU roaming, plus unlimited calls and SMS for EUR 7.99 a month. SIM cards cost EUR 9.99 and are available at over 140 own-brand stores and other outlets, including its automatic ‘Simbox’ dispensing machines.

Iliad’s new offer costs EUR 2 more than its launch deal of 30GB of data and EUR 1 more than its second official offer of 40GB of data, but also includes unlimited calls to over 60 international destinations as well as the increased data. The operator added that the new deal is initially available for the first 500,000 takers.

All three of Italy's main mobile network operators felt the disruptive effects of low-cost challenger Iliad in the third quarter, with Wind Tre and Vodafone hit hardest, according to new data from Telecompaper. Total mobile service revenues in Italy fell by 6.3 percent year-on-year to EUR 3.18 billion in the third quarter of 2018, led by steep declines at Wind Tre and Vodafone, in spite of Iliad's initial EUR 46 million contribution in the July to September period.

Vodafone Italia has launched a plan with unlimited calls and 50GB of data at 4G+ speeds for EUR 7.99 a month aimed at customers of Iliad Italia and most of the country's MVNOs. Iliad Italia has launched a new offer aimed above all at feature phone owners that comes with unlimited voice calls and SMS in both Italy and Europe for EUR 4.99 a month. Vodafone Ho phases out EUR 8/mth 40GB offer

Vodafone Italia's new low-cost brand Ho has phased out its offer of 40GB of 4G data plus unlimited calls and SMS for EUR 7.99 a month, reports Mondo Mobile Web. The only official offer available on the operator's website is now 50GB of data plus unlimited calls and SMS for EUR 9.99 a month, with an additional EUR 9.99 payable for SIM cards. TIM offering 50GB and unlimited calls for EUR 5/mth in targeted deal

Telecom Italia (TIM) has launched its best ever targeted deal and is offering 50GB of data and unlimited calls for EUR 5 a month to Iliad and MVNO customers, reports website Tariffando. The offer called Five Iper Go is available at TIM stores and comes with an activation fee of EUR 12 for the SIM card, rising to EUR 20 if the card doesn't remain active for at least 24 months. Customers of all other operators can sign up to the TIM Titanium plan with the same conditions for EUR 9.99 a month, said the report.

Iliad Italia's launch offer of 30GB of mobile data plus unlimited calls and SMS for EUR 5.99 a month is no longer available, reports Mondo Mobile Web. The plan was launched in May and initially reserved for the first million customers but Iliad subsequently opened the deal to a further 350,000 or so customers. However, on 29 August it finally phased out the offer, with new clients now able to sign up for 40GB of 4G data, including 3GB for EU roaming, plus unlimited calls and SMS for EUR 6.99 a month.
