Iliad partners investor InfraVia for FTTH roll-out in rural areas

French operator Iliad announced a new joint venture for its FTTH business with the infrastructure investor InfraVia. The operator plans to spin off around 1 million fibre connections in low- and medium-density areas into a new company, in which InfraVia will buy a 51 percent stake. The new company has an enterprise value of around EUR 600 million.
