ILS delays Proton launch of Eutelsat 5 West B

Wednesday 25 September 2019 | 08:46 CET | News
International Launch Services (ILS) delayed the lift-off of a Proton launch vehicle carrying the Eutelsat 5 West B / Mission Extension Vehicle-1 satellites scheduled for 30 September due to an issue encountered during the Integrated Launch Vehicle's electrical testing. The issue is being investigated by Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center (Khrunichev), ILS said in a press release. Khrunichev and ILS will reestablish a new launch date once the issue was resolved. The vehicle and satellite remain in a safe configuration.
